Happy Birthday Charlottetown 150 Years Young

Wow! look at us, all dressed up and raring to go. I'm proud to be a part of this community, the people and the buildings; I never tire of walking up town. Beanz for coffee a stroll through the mall getting yesterdays news and some of today's , then over to the Confederation Ctr., Starbucks dark roast with cream and off to the Kier Gallery.
Hours of operation, depending on the day and how many people I talk to along the way; I attempt 10:30-11:00.
There are usually several members of our community patiently waiting for my arrival as I have one of three keys to the front door.
This morning Gordon Cobb and I discussed the weather as well as a bit of community politics, Gordon is a policy representative with ACOA and a great sounding board for the cultural community.
Dave Howard stopped to show off a few new creations, he is leaving us in about two weeks to return to Bermuda and finish off the winter. He tells me it is his intention to return in May and to keep a light in the window to insure his safe return. Dave you will be missed.
I would like to take a moment to thank our friend James as it is he who is responsible for the creation of this web site. James I know I speak for all of us who use this space, thank you James for your help and your patience.
Well I had better do some work, it’s always a pleasure to talk to you folks
Take care
Kier
