Springing Into Spring

Although you have heard little from us as of late the Kier Gallery organization has been very productive.

We are working on an R&D project involving a number of artists and several partnering organizations.

Our web presence is a priority, creating the content and loading it to the net is a full time job.
James McConnell is our site administrator, tech support guy and a great motivational speaker.
James my friend we appreciate all that you do.

Together with Heritage Canada the Kier Gallery have developed a governance document.
This is a major step forward for our organization, I would like to thank Bruce Matheson and Rob McEacherin for their due diligence on this file.

Keith Kennedy of (MODE Media) is progressing at the speed of digital imagery compiling a history of the CN Rail pensioner - tales of the rails. This will be a tool for tourism and a great historic document.

We are placing artists on the arts and artists portion of the site if you are interested in using this service you can contact me at kierpaso@isn.net .
Our phone numbers are 940-5172 or 892-3371.
Thank you for listening
Kier

End Of An Era

Tonight I attended a celebration in honour of an old friend and colleague.
Fern Taylor long time backbone of the Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts is retiring.
For the past 25+ years Fern has worked on behalf of the arts community. In all those years I never saw her loose her temper or raise her voice. In my capacity as board member and chair of the council, Fern and I had many opportunities to work together and it was always a pleasure.
Thanks Fern
