Screenwriter's Bootcamp
The first annual Screenwriter's Bootcamp is about to get underway this coming Sunday, June 17th. The Bootcamp will be held at the Trailside Cafe in Mt. Stewart. Twelve Maritime emerging screenwriters will be mentored by industry professionals Alex Epstein and Tom Shoebridge over the week of the 17th - 22nd.
As well as the workshops for the participants, there are a host of other events that are open to anyone interested. These are social/informational events at which representatives from film and television related organizations such as CBC, The Writer's Guild of Canada, Telefilm Canada, The Canadian Film Centre, and TechPEI will be present. So, if you are interested in learning about how to approach a producer, how to raise funds for your next film, how to register your script... don't miss these opportunities!
