Come and hear internationally acclaimed Tasmanian poet/activist Tim
Thorne and our own Deirdre Kessler and Leon Berrouard as they read from their works of poetry
THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING, October 29,
at The Dunk (3864 Dixon Road, Breadalbane)
A pot luck dinner at 6 PM will be followed by poetry at 7:30. All welcome.
Tim Thorne has been brought to PEI through a collaboration between the
PEI Writer's Guild, UPEI Dept English and Institute of island Studies.
He describes himself as a political poet who thinks that poetry and
politics should gel. Others describe his work as passionate, unexpected,
wry, funny (by times) and gut wrenching (by times). An experience that
will move and shake you... as fine poetry does.
